There's a new Arm mitigation feature called Memory Tagging Extension (MTE), which will hopefully render exploits based on memory corruptions ineffective. Check out my talk from the Linux Security Summit 2021, where I explain how MTE works and how it's integrated into the Linux kernel.
On a separate note: tired of looking at people recording talks through a webcam? Here I tried to move away from this pattern and record the talk outside at a few scenic places. This was my first time recording an outdoors video with proper equipment, so the recording is not perfect, but I hope it turned out alright :)
