Some things don't add up to my eyes...far too many coincidences lately that make no sense at all.

Far too many well-known YouTubers that have massive audience / subscribers decided to give up and claim burnout; fair enough I said, I understand.

Then one "goodbye" video after another, they started jumping the ship and immediately I went skeptical and said to myself: either they have some inside info that something big is about to happen (thus the need to get out ASAP) or they are about to push them to their limits with new demands and have said "enough is enough; we are not going to die for them; it's time to say goodbye, it was good while it lasted".

There's no other logical explanation, to me; this is my personal opinion which makes me very skeptical, that's all.

I’ve noticed several YouTube channels that have hundreds of thousands or millions of subscribers but new videos are watched only by a fraction of a fraction of that subscriber number. iJustine has 7.1 M subscribers but her latest videos have between 0.05 M to 0.15 M views.

Either TikTok and Instagram pull all the viewers over to their platform or there is a problem with YouTube’s subscribtions feed. In any case, many YouTubers are frustrated by the few views.

Just thought I'd document my experience going onto this site:

* I load the page, everything looks normal

* suddenly a massive video advert appears at the top of the screen, taking up half the screen and shifting all the content down

* another video advert appears at the bottom of the screen, stealing another 10% of the screen

* I start scrolling: the top advert is sticky and covers up the article headline. I can now see nothing apart from a part of a reindeer's head

* I scroll some more

* Chrome pops up a box telling me that the website wants to know my location

* I scroll some more and encounter yet another inline advert. My screen is now almost entirely adverts

* I scroll some more and the inline advert becomes a mini-player in the bottom-right of the screen

* There are now 4 separate adverts on my screen, all videos

* I give up and leave the page

In the beginning of the article it sounds like he saw the object they caught in the net (“What Olver’s net eventually brought to the surface”, “As soon as I saw it I knew what it was.”). In the end of the article where they cite an email he wrote in 2017, it sounds like he never saw the object but his gut instinct told him it was a wing, not a shipping container (“I am convinced this was an aircraft wing”). The wording of his email doesn’t help his case. Leave out all the irrelevant fluff and just say you caught a commercial plane’s wing or large part of it in your fishing net in 2014 and state the coordinates where you dropped the net.

Regarding the authorities’ response: It’s strange they did not start an investigation when he claimed he found plane debris.

That's not possible. Joe Rogan doesn't have a podcast. Call it what it is. Rogan's show ceased being a podcast when it moved to Spotify. If you can't listen to it on a (1st gen) iPod, then it's not a podcast. Call it what it is; don't muddle the terms. "Podcast" is not a genre label or a program format.
tqkxzugoaupvwqr · 2 years ago
Do podcasts that could be played on iPods but started publishing in a newer audio format cease to be podcasts?

The iPod has been discontinued. Should the term podcast be discontinued?

You are in their target market of who they can really squeeze since you want something a little bit special. Their memory pricing has always been absurd. Even on an older MacBook it was often +$200 for something silly like a 16GB SODIMM that costs $50 at the store. I still think their build quality , screen quality and OS are pretty much unmatched.
tqkxzugoaupvwqr · 2 years ago
It’s worse. The configurator is labeled with a relative price upgrade but an absolute RAM size. The actual deal is +$200 for +8 GB RAM which is outrageous.

For a weather forecaster this is a really strange take.

Anybody who understands what the big words 'climate change' mean, could have predicted this. HAVE predicted this. I personally have predicted this and I'm not even a weather forecaster, I just know what chaos theory is.

Adding energy to the system produces a wider range of possible outcomes. This is absolutely one of the possible outcomes.

A few degrees less warming and it might not have been possible.

Chaos is STRANGE. It's sensitive to initial conditions. One of those conditions is the total energy in the system. This is what happens when you add a few degrees to the whole planet. It'll act normal, sort of, maybe for quite a while… then bam.

Because this is what you get when you add energy to a chaotic system the size of a planet, and it will happen again. We just got a picture of the new range of possible event… or of something WITHIN the new range of possible event, which by no means is guaranteed to be the most dramatic climate outcome currently possible.

This was probably on the high end of possible events but might not even be the most extreme thing that can now happen with this level of climate energy.

Climate energy is still increasing.

You confuse weather forecast with climate forecast. Climate is the weather averaged over 30 years.

The author certainly knows about climate change and the intensification of events due to warmer seas, landmasses and air.

This article is about a particular storm and how models failed to predict the outcome.

Pasting my comment from another post on this news:

Seems these Nazca aliens have already been debunked two years ago as a re-arrangement of human and animal bones. If you can ignore the comedy skits, the video below points out all the inconsistencies.
