It it actively dangerous too. You might be self aware and llm aware all you want, if you routinely read "This is such an excellent point", " You are absolutely right" and so on, it does your mind in. This is worst kind of global reality show mkultra...

I'd like others' input on this: increasingly, I see Cursor, Jetbrains, etc. moving towards a model of having you manage many agents working on different tasks simultaneously. But in real, production codebases, I've found that even a single agent is faster at generating code than I am at evaluating its fitness and providing design guidance. Adding more agents working on different things would not speed anything up. But perhaps I am just much slower or a poorer multi-tasker than most. Do others find these features more useful?

My context window is small. It's hard enough keeping track of one timeline, I just don't see the appeal in running multiple agents. I can't really keep up.

Kind of wild that Netflix is (or believes) it is so far ahead of all the other streaming services that they're nickel-and-diming their customers for every little feature.

Other services were aggressively throwing Black Friday sales in order to boost their subscriber counts. I picked up HBO for 70% off, and there were also Hulu and Apple TV discounts. And I didn't need any of them because there's plenty of ad-supported content on YouTube, Tubi, and other services.

I never watch Netflix but I kept their highest tier account to share with my family (not in same household). They really started nickle-and-diming this quarter and I cancelled. I know I could add another user for additional charge but it motivated me to cancel.

Yes, if you accidentally push grandma and her wheelchair over a cliff you probably wouldn’t refer to it as “a recent family incident”. In particular the fourth word, a single letter ‘a’, immediately got my back up. The vagueness and defensiveness of the whole post feels very dismissive and inhuman.

”Out of transparency and our desire to share with our community…” also reminds me when I get a refund that is prefixed with ”as a one-time gesture of goodwill…” instead of ”sorry, we made a mistake”.

Well, I still don't wanna make everybody in the room have to listen to my grunts as I push out an unhealthy binge-drinking hangover turd followed by a liter of flatulent gas and and liquid spraying into the bowl. I like my privacy, kthx.
