This would be awesome to run iCloud sync on my homeserver. Currently, there is no good way to physically backup iCloud on a homeserver/nas, because it only runs on windows/apple.

I've been working on a solution here that uses OSX-Docker & OSXPhotos. It's getting there, but I wanted a way to back-up all the info in iCloud, but also include the metadata changes. Turns out that iCloud doesn't update the raw photos. Makes sense, but not helpful for those who do back-ups and expected those changes to be there.

I don't think they missed the boat, I think they recognize that LLMs aren't Apple-ready yet.

They don't roll out half-baked products, and they won't be comfortable placing the big disclaimers that ChatGPT relies on. They'll incorporate LLMs if and when they can guarantee that what Siri says will be consistently accurate and extremely difficult to abuse.

They definitely missed the boat in my eyes. The speed at which others have been able to produce meaningful assistants with LLM is astonishing. Considering Apple also have an approach where they announce and release in November / early the following year, to have nothing revealed seems like a missed opportunity to me.

Gutted that the iPhone mini is essentially dead. I don't want a phone any bigger.

I'll hang onto my 13 Mini for as long as I can, hopefully they will update the SE to basically be the new Mini.

100% agree. I have a 12 mini and love it.

> The board was asleep at the switch. They are now unemployable.

That's not really how this works. The CAO of the bank was CFO of Lehman. People in these positions just get credit for the fact that they had a front row seat for this sort of financial implosion, so they can (theoretically) help whoever else's board they join avoid that sort of thing.

> But those players within the venture capital community who were singularly responsible for triggering and then exacerbating this run will not escape accountability.

The people in the VC community who triggered the bank run did the right thing by their startups. They don't have a responsibility to SVB. If they saw a run on the bank starting, it was in their best interests and the best interests of the startups in which they invested for those startups to get their money out as quickly as possible.

Level 4 has a bug. Entering a string in the text box for the timer solves the problem, but putting that string directly as the get parameter in the URL doesn't. Anyone know how to report this?

Thankyou. I was trying my payload but couldn't get it to work. I'm sure there's a better way to do it.

BHAHAHAHAHA I just love how many people are getting their arms up about this, then you find out its because they're the CEO of Supercell.

"Free to play" should not be a model which says, "Free, but in order to actually, well, WIN, you need to pay". Take a look at Dota 2. Thats a successful f2p model. Game itself is 100% free and you can be a top player without paying a DIME.
