No, you did not build an AI. You just vibe-coded a glorified frontend around someone else's AI.

You may have created a nice frontend for an AI. You did not create an AI as claimed.

You could also write your app in Haxe instead and cross compile to Javascript, Python, C++, Java, Lua,...

The difference is that there's nobody there to fact-check the bullshit that your LLM spews.
taraparo · 8 months ago
Compilers, linters, test frameworks, Benchmarks, CIs do the fact checking.

Before AI, I was googling and stackoverflowing the sh_t out of the internet because of subpar/absent/outdated documentation or obscure APIs of a lot of OSS libraries/frameworks. Now I am priming the sh_t out of AI prompts for the same stuff. I don't see much difference, except now I get results faster and more to the point.

The Eclipse Foundation has been experiencing a significant infrastructure outage since April 21, 2025, affecting several core services. While the main website (eclipse.org) remains operational, key components such as the account management system (accounts.eclipse.org), and download servers have been impacted. The root cause has been identified as a storage-related issue, leading to disruptions in authentication and access to Eclipse-hosted tools and services.

As of April 24, 2025, there has been no detailed public explanation or estimated time for full recovery.

From my personal experience, nothing scientific or proven here.

I sit in a small office since last few years. A year or so ago I started to get less mentally active, as in things were going on in automatic mode.

And I did not feel good in general, a friend who practices Yoga advised me to do breathing exercises.

15-30 mins of deep breaths in open space in early morning, after shower, before breakfast. Followed by 3-5 min of rapid breathing. And finishing with taking as much air as I can and holding it for 30 sec to a min and repeating it for 2-3 times.

I do feel active after that, I wonder if it's related to these studies.

I encourage you and everyone else interested to attend a Holotropic Breathwork session to truly grasp the profound impact your breath can have on your mind. This is nothing like your regular five-minute yoga breathing exercise, boxed breathing, or even the Wim Hof breathing. It's a completely different level. These sessions typically last 3 to 5 hours and take place in a safe, supportive setting with a dedicated sitter and experienced facilitators.

And please don’t try this stuff alone at home.

I visited Amsterdam a few years ago and the hotel had this cool wallpaper that had history of Amsterdam. I read about corporations and trade and banking and was surprised at how huge, rich, and long lived they are.

I think the smart move isn’t in being the hegemon. It’s having a hegemon that protects your interests and allows you to thrive. That way you don’t pay for a massive military and whatnot.

Maybe this is the US backing out of its commitment to have military bases all over the world in exchange for wealth. If Europe steps up and becomes hegemon then the US can cruise by with 1% gdp for military and maybe set up universal healthcare. Although they’d likely end up as yachts for billionaires or something.

Anyway, I think in 100 years, I’d rather be Netherlands than the US. More peace, more money.

In a hundred years Netherlands is probably underwater.
