I understand skepticism comes from having not experienced AI -- what has been your exposure?

There are a lot of people like myself who have been following every product/research that comes out watching and using the tools that are coming out at rapid pace.

At a certain point you feel the trajectory and the promise of AGI and ASI does not seem that far away. The conversation about AI isn't hype, it's a genuine concern that people are not taking seriously. This tech is bigger than the average mainstream newstream is making it out to be.

I built an entire MMO this past weekend with a friend using AI. If you are still one of those people going "it's not there yet" you are sleepy. And I get it, it's a lot. But I would strongly encourage you to see what's out there before scoffing.

An entire MMO? I'd be shocked if there was any depth/detail for an MMO built over the weekend...

Some screenshots or something would help.

The video that is on the site, but buried, doesn't seem to show anything.

The video shows exactly what the tool does… far from buried, it’s explicitly labeled “what”.

The biggest danger of AI isn't that it will revolt but that it'll allow dictators and other totalitarians complete control over the population.

And I mean total. A sufficiently advanced algorithm will be able to find everything a person has ever posted online (by cross referencing, writing style, etc.) and determine their views and opinions with high accuracy. It'll be able to extrapolate the evolution of a person's opinions.

The government will be able to target dissidents even before they realize they are dissidents, let alone before they have time to organize.

Sure.. for folks who don’t worry about anonymity when sharing online. For those who prioritize anonymity, I’m doubtful.

The Photos app has a delicates option - not that I want to piss on your parade but the functionality is already present? Or am I missing something?

Didn’t realize this existed, nice.

I appreciate the caution - and although they're close in spelling, I'd wager coolify is recognized by the majority as adding the suffix 'ify' to 'cool' rather than the term you've highlighted.

I got a cargo e-bike (Aventon Abound) and I have a cafe lock and a chain lock. Luckily the bike doesn't look "cool" so I am less worried about thieves. It's also quite heavy so the cafe lock is almost always enough. If I am leaving it downtown for hours then I also use the heavy duty chain.

I have the same model, it’s so much fun to ride. Love the abound.

Upvote to comments ratio: nobody knows how to play, hadn't even heard before, but it has "nerdy corpo" attached to it, so must be good.

Really interesting project! Could you share some screenshots or examples of how it works in practice?
