Much-needed app, thanks for the same. For some time, I have been thinking about a similar app for the simple requirement of sounding every 25 to 30 minutes while working on a computer just to give rest to the eyes, but I was unable to find a suitable one. The "offline-first PWA with zero dependencies; no build step, no cookies, no links, no analytics, nothing other than timers" gives it a really usable coat for both desktop and mobile

I’ve been experimenting with AI agents for automation, research, operations, and workflows. One problem I keep running into is that “skills” are scattered everywhere. Everyone is reinventing the wheel, and useful prompt patterns are often locked inside private docs, screenshots, or Discord threads.

So I built https://claudeskills.cc — a simple, open, searchable place to: • publish agent skills / task capabilities • discover how others design skills for Claude/OpenAI-based agents • reuse or remix skill instructions • learn from real examples rather than theory • enable community-driven evolution

DNA self-desintegrate very fast. It only works in living cells because it is being repaired non-stop

Sorry, it is one of the most stable organic molecules and can stay intact for thousands of years. That is why the Jurassic Park like fantasies are based on a truth and many extinct species have been brought to life through DNA in reality too.

I've had this described to me as basically the combination of neuro+psychological effects of hyperventilation (respiratory alkalosis) in a peaceful/positive environment (as opposed to anxiety-attack-driven or etc.), plus the meditative effects of deep breathing, plus the meditative/brain-entrainment effects of rhythmic movement of a major central/core muscle (diaphragm). Together, those often cause euphoria, altered states of consciousness, and cognitive shifts not too far off from psychedelics.

Could someone who is more familiar with it affirm, adjust, or deny that as a general (medically-grounded/secular) summary of breathwork?

Your summary is exact. Medical personnel here

This is lovely. I maintain a dev log at work where I manually time-stamp entries section wise, but many times I’m doing it after the fact. Ability to edit the time stamps and then search based on it would make this super powered.

Actually, I would love to combine this with Heynote[0], have you considered it?

The pieces exist, you can string them together with a Perl one-liner. You are interested in the set intersection of the following two topics:

Full indexing: <https://lesbonscomptes.com/recoll>, <https://userbase.kde.org/Akonadi>, <https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/falcon_extension> (If you're not content with a piece, then research substitutes on <https://alternativeto.net>.)

Recent: `.local/share/recently-used.xbel`

This does not help with the email part because email programs do not register opened messages in recently used. Work-around: install a DBus or AT-SPI hook and write your own database of recently opened messages.

Happy hacking!

I’m the project leader for Homebrew and have been maintaining it for 12 years. I have no planned dramatic changes for it or expectations I’ll radically improve it in any way. I just try to keep all parts of the project ticking along and I still enjoy doing so, despite feeling no real obligation to continue.

You have done a great job, and helped innumerable developers along the way. Thanks

"last modified" only works for static content, and not pages that are rendered dynamically or where the header is set based on cache settings.

Even for static content, the date may be wrong as the output may have been generated multiple times since it was first created.

Thanks for the info

Just today I was reading a blog post about some framework (KubeFlow) not being “ready for prime time yet”, and even though the article had great technical details, the fact that it lacked a date made it so much less valuable: it’s highly relevant whether this conclusion was drawn last month or two years ago.

I understand why this happens, but part of me really wishes we could stop this. Maybe there is some archive.org extension that can show me “this page first appeared on $date”.

Open developer tools and type `document.lastModified` in the console. Though this is painful for every web page, is useful in these instances. Maybe someone with experience in developing Chrome extensions, can develop one for getting this plus other useful page info by just clicking on it in the toolbar
