I think OP means that this "filtering" the on the fly conversion does can amplify the content bubbles we live in

guess what happens to integrated track pads? you wear a hole through them, and cant replace or repair them. that puts a MTBF on the entire device based on track pad mileage.

I have sensitive hearing, so I thought I would love their "friendly" hours. I don't. I find them awful, because they didn't replace it with white noise so you just hear all the creaks of the carts, stuff being moved on shelves, dropped, people talking, beeps and boops from the registers, etc. Good idea, poor implementation.
