guess what happens to integrated track pads? you wear a hole through them, and cant replace or repair them. that puts a MTBF on the entire device based on track pad mileage.

With the Apple Silicon M series being 5 years on the market now and the System76 Thelio Astra being released since this article was updated, what is the utility of posting it now?

I have sensitive hearing, so I thought I would love their "friendly" hours. I don't. I find them awful, because they didn't replace it with white noise so you just hear all the creaks of the carts, stuff being moved on shelves, dropped, people talking, beeps and boops from the registers, etc. Good idea, poor implementation.
