Yes, try `conda install -c conda-forge lpython`. It should work on Windows, but it's not as extensively tested as macOS and Linux. If it doesn't work, please report it, and we'll fix it. Once we get to beta, we will support Windows very well.

It worked, thanks !

Looks really cool. Build on windows fails for me, are there any downloadable prebuilt binaries to try lpython quickly ?

Interesting that two of the most powerful techniques which can essentially kill chat GPT : Orca and Textbooks, both come from Microsoft.

I have been using Helix editor for last three months {was a sublime user earlier} and am really liking it. Its LSP is faster than Sublime, needs minimal setup and very similar to vim. I knew Vim from my engineering days but the configuration part of Vim kept me away from using it and thus using sublime. Helix solved that specific problem.

It is a bit of a meme in AI research, as Schmidhuber often claims that he hasn't received the citations that he thinks he deserves.

Interesting, but not sure I’m following…

If you’re working under a “time and materials” model of compensation then “the professor” is paying for the polishing. Would it still be a bad deal to do the polishing?

If your working under a “fixed price” compensation model then it’s obviously a bad deal to keep working on something that’s already done (by all reasonable standards), and no elaborate explanations are required.

I guess their issue is that due to the professor's clout, its hard for them to say no to do work at t&m they are no longer comfortable at [maybe even for free]. That's why the 'powerplay' ref ? I know that can be frustrating because I worked with a professor once who wanted me to work a lot before giving me clarity about money/cred.

I have a social group of folks that work out hard integrals via social media -- friends and friends of friends over the years in quant jobs and graduate school where we work on fun things.

This author obviously knows this at a deeper level, especially the academic literature, where our group is more raw about it. So fun. Thanks to the author and the poster for a pleasant Friday afternoon read.

If I may ask, do you have any book which has solutions of some of these hard integrals so that one can get a knack of ways to solve them than just start from first principles like by-parts ? Nntaleb and his twitter followers also often discuss solutions by methods which were not taught in Calculus 2.

It would be great idea to see one such book if it doesn't exist.
