And while we're at it, can we do teleportation too? Think of all the parking hassles, the car accidents, the carbon emissions we could save! And yet, just try to convince those funding agencies...

You're equating teleportation...something that violates our current understanding of physics..with rejuvenation, which does have some promising peripheral research, such as studies on telomeres.

If I go to buy something, I switch off ad blocking on that page, at the very least, on the checkout page. Ads can even be actually relevant there.

If the page is too ad-ridden to tolerate, I may consider to just close that page, and go search for other options.

I use Firefox + uBlock Origin, because going to the wide commercial internet without some form of ad blocking is like going out without an umbrella when it's raining heavily.

>I use Firefox + uBlock Origin

Wasn’t Mozilla accused of selling data they collected from Firefox users?

Correct me if I’m wrong.

There are people who find jobs that require very little work, and its probably easier to find these jobs in offices. It works very well with technical work that management do not understand, and where output is difficult measure. its possible that people on HN might know of some jobs that fit this…

There are extreme cases, such as people dying and no one realising that their work is not being done, and that is rare, but a certain amount of slacking off, spending time of social media, etc. is not at all uncommon.

I mean, the statistics support the extraordinary amount of time spent on social media all throughout the day across all generations.

Very important for people to remember universally.

Thats a fair point, a significant part of our 4 person team had to skill up on the VSCode codebase to be able to meaningfully make changes to it.

I would love to know your workflow, you mention CLI tool or VSCode plugin, which one of them work for you? Whats missing from them where Aide can fill in the gap

Plugin, which gives you access to the UI.

In my case, they took so long to announce the iPhone 12 Mini that I gave up waiting and bought an SE even though it was slower than I wanted and had a poor camera. Four months later they announced the Mini, but I wasn't willing to replace a four-month-old phone. Then they discontinued the Mini line after 13.

When I was ready to buy a new phone, there were no iPhone Mini models for sale. It took more than a year, but I finally found an iPhone 13 Mini in stock on the Apple Refurbished store. Now I'm hoping to keep this phone alive until they finally release another small iPhone.

I agree, I think the iPhone mini sales were deeply affected by the iPhone SE. I came back a few months ago looking for an iPhone mini and didn't see any either.
