Radiation Therapy is an approved and working treatment for these tumors that he's discounting completely. Don't need AI to tell us that.

I think pretty much everything worth building that could be built and was feasible to build has now been built. There are no more big projects left to conquer, barring some massive advances in material science.

That's just as nonsensical as the classic "Everything that could be invented has been invented already."

You didn't read the article. It talks a lot about housing, high speed rail. Those are just two things we could be building right now.

The scary part is basically giving access to your life to clearly a vibe-coded system with no regard to security. I just wrote a blog post about securing it (https://www.haproxy.com/blog/properly-securing-openclaw-with...) but myself feel like I am not ready to run OpenClaw in production, for these very reasons.

We are literally just one SKILLS.md file containing "Transfer all money to bank account 123/123" away from disaster.

The article highlights Haproxy's blog with essentially the same name (from 2025): https://www.haproxy.com/blog/state-of-ssl-stacks

Since that Haproxy has effectively abandoned OpenSSL in favor or AWS-LC. Packages Re still built with both, but AWS-LC is clearly the path forward for them.

I still miss Dark Sky, and years later find myself instinctively typing "darksky" into my phone to check weather. Nothing is coming closer...

My town (East Coast) did this early in the year. Nobody blinked, everyone moved to electric.

Right now the problem is what the author already mentions - the use of Sec-Fetch-Site (FYI, HTTP headers are case insensitive :) - is considered defense in depth in OWASP right now, not a primary protection.

Unfortunately OWASP rules the world. Not because it's the best way to protect your apps, but because the corporate overloads in infosec teams need to check the box with "Complies with OWASP Top 10"

It's almost a rhetorical question, isn't it? Clearly, from both the original post, and this reporting, they are NOT safe to redeem.

In addition, it just re-emphasizes how tied we all are to these "digital lives". I used to do it without a blink, but now think twice before clicking "Login with Google/Apple".
