miffe commented on A surprise with how '#!' handles its program argument in practice   utcc.utoronto.ca/~cks/spa... · Posted by u/SeenNotHeard

Huh. I wish I had known this before.

NixOS is annoying because everything is weird and symlinked and so I find myself fairly frequently making the mistake of writing `#!/bin/bash`, only to be told it can't find it, and I have to replace the path with `/run/current-system/sw/bin/bash`.

Or at least I thought I did; apparently I can just have done `#!bash`. I just tested this, and it worked fine. You learn something new every day I guess.

Seems like it only works in zsh, not bash or fish

Anyone remember a software to generate images such as these?

I think it was called something like Terralogic Texture Maker (ttm.exe) and I've been looking for it for years.

What makes this different from regular md? I'm not familiar with unRAID.

I use a tracker to try and fight this, showing how many games I've started and also achievement progress in them in aggregate.

But I also buy a lot of books I intend to read later, so I almost think it's inherent to digital copies? The less friction in storing them the easier it is to buy aspirationally.

What tracker? I need something like this, I've around 1600 games on steam and need a way to keep track.

Do an image search for SCADA, they are the most information dense systems I've ever worked with.

Wish it had a fps limiter so I could see what's going on.
