There’s also Google Sans Code, the monospace companion of Google Sans family.

That's strange, which OS? I am on Arch and also on 145 and I get the "Ask an AI Chatbot" in the context menu. The settings used to work in the past so I am not sure what's going on.

I believe these are all the settings I have disabled for AI:

browser.ml.chat.enabled

browser.ml.chat.menu

browser.ml.chat.page

browser.ml.chat.page.footerBadge

browser.ml.chat.page.menuBadge

browser.ml.chat.shortcuts

browser.ml.chat.sidebar

browser.ml.enable

browser.ml.linkPreview.enabled

browser.ml.pageAssist.enabled

browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled

browser.tabs.groups.smart.userEnable

browser.tabs.groups.smart.userEnabled

extensions.ml.enabled

sidebar.notification.badge.aichat

Am I missing anything?

Seems whatever I had disabled earlier is still disabled on my install of FF 145.

I do have these additional settings.

browser.ml.chat.maxLength=0 browser.ml.chat.prompt.prefix="{}" browser.ml.chat.prompts.0="{}" browser.ml.chat.prompts.1="{}" browser.ml.chat.prompts.3="{}" browser.ml.chat.prompts.4="{}" browser.ml.chat.shortcuts.custom=false browser.ml.linkPreview.longPress=false browser.ml.modelHubRootUrl="example.com"

Been using wBlock for a while. It blocks ads pretty well, supports custom blocklists and userscripts and does get rid of entire DOM nodes containing ad elements instead of leaving annoying empty elements. Compared to Adguard, you do lose cosmetic filtering but gain better battery life.

Please don't, now I can no longer say that I cannot use teams. If you want to use it so bad, go back to Windows...

You can still dodge the bullet by saying this is an “unofficial” client using which may violate an unknown amount of compliance bullet points.

One of the biggest productivity improvements I've had as a developer was to make a habit of planning all my work upfront. Specifically, when I pick up a ticket, I break it down into a big bullet point list of TODOs. Doing it this way leads to a better design, to dealing with inter-ticket dependencies upfront, to clarifying the spec upfront (which yes, is part of your job as a senior developer), and most valuable of all it allows me to get into flow state much more regularly when I am programming.

Its not a surprise to me that this approach also helps AI coding agents to work more effectively, as in-depth planning is essentially moving the thinking upfront.

(I wrote more about this here: https://liampulles.com/jira-tickets.html)

This is how I approach my stories as well. I used to call this “action plan” way before it became fashionable with the rise of AI agents.

It helps me not only reduce the complexity into more manageable chunks but go back to business team for smoothening the rough edges which would otherwise require a rework after review.

Nice! Speaking of Winamp - are you using any alternative music player for iOS that you would recommend?

Hi, Canva employee & Affinity user+lover for 10+ years (pre-acquisition) here.

That’s not true. We really do want to make all design, including professional design, as widely accessible as possible; including those who can’t afford it.

I understand this could be interpreted as ‘corporate PR’, but even from a game-theory sense, you’d want to maximize the top of your funnel, which is free users.

I loved Affinity v1 suite's offline activation model. Sadly that changed in v2 and the same thing is happening now.

Is there any hope to enable activating v2 offline? That way I can still install and use it when you eventually shutdown the activation server.
