How does X-Plane compare to the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator?

I tried the latest MS Flight Simulator on X-Box. It was incredibly difficult to figure out how to set things up to reasonably simulate something like flying an ILS approach. Maybe on the PC it's better, but it just didn't seem to be the focus. And there's background music playing like it's an un-serious video game. X-Plane seems much more oriented towards realistically simulating the tasks involved in actually flying aircraft. Microsoft's seemed more oriented towards having pretty dang spectacular graphics and providing a fun experience for people who aren't really that interested in the rest of the minutiae of piloting aircraft. It's pretty cool that you can see your actual house on the Microsoft one though.

I have one of these and also loved it… until the hinge snapped. They sent me a replacement top panel, but I still haven’t gotten around to fixing it because it’s a bit nervewracking. You have to lift the (pretty delicate-looking) screen off which is held on by adhesives.

Lovely little device, but not as durable as it might appear.

Did you get a sense for how long the battery was lasting while you were using it?

Is the American justice system so broken and law enforcement so incompetent that a computer flagging someone is basically an automatic conviction and the technology has to be banned?

No evidence, by its self should be enough to get a conviction. Not your finger prints all over the scene of a crime, not a video of someone who looks like you, not even your DNA matching a rape kit.

The fact that someone was arrested because of match shows a failure in basic criminal investigation more than anything else.
