This seems rather alpha.

Also, versioning with only numbers and dots seems a little basic or prescriptive to me, at least comparability with semver would make a little more sense to me.

To be fair, I worked on multiple projects removing queues at Google, so it's more than just that.

you are right. made worse because there's an internal rule that you can't ever have two versions of a library in the monorepo ant the same time. it has to be one giant CL for the entire migration company-wide.
