I live in a large suburban home. I spend $1,000/mo on landscaping services and $1,000/mo on maid services. If I could buy a $10,000 robot that could do those things, as well as have apps for doing dinner dishes, laundry, making the bed, and feeding the pets, I would do it in a second.

Good for them. No groundwater for data centers! Data centers should be run closed loop, if they can't, they shouldn't exist. AZ should also make them generate at least 70% of their power onsite.
It was going to use 1% of the available recycled water. That's about the equivalent usage of a medium size farm.
It's a nasty little tool that became huge during the 1980's cut-all-budgets-but-war-on-drugs era.

Exactly. Now that the War on Drugs is thankfully over, this tool is being used on everyday Americans who are not criminals. It should be outlawed.

California gives medi-cal to undocumented migrants, paid for by the California general fund. The same program also administers federal medicaid funds for eligible Californians. It's a very different reality than you're trying to present.
Medi-Cal gets 50% of its funding from Medicaid. California claims the money is separate, but since money is fungible, the federal money can be counted towards money spent on illegal aliens.

"Tree-knocking" by Sasquatch has been witnessed. I immediately thought of this when I read the article. Although, Sasquatch has been thought to use branches, not stones, to strike the trees.

My old neighborhood had "Front Porch Fridays" where neighbors would gather in front of someone's house and have a pot luck with cocktails. It was very popular.

I subscribe to this philosophy.
I recently had my house remodeled. A lot of the walls were opened up and I asked the contractor to run fiber and cat 6a everywhere. Now every room has multiple drops of each. Even the outdoor and garage have several drops. Bathrooms have ethernet. Attic, basement and storage room has multiple drops. I may have overdone it. But, I never wanted to every worry about this ever again.
I thought about multiple drops of cat6 per room in my house, but they charged me per drop. So I just put one drop in each room and added a switch in a room that needs multiple connections. It's usually for Wifi WAP, smart TV, and the Tivo box.
I don't understand how Tesla vandalism rises to the level of terrorism. It's protest in the form of vandalism. But this administration wants to misclassify any resistance.
Protest in the form of vandalism is terrorism. You have a First Amendment right to speech, but not to violence and destruction.
The FBI defines terrorism as: "Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature."
Clearly, criminal trespass on someone's Tesla to discourage Elon Musk from taking actions against your ideological goals falls within that category.
