It splits revenue out to 3 categories, "Productivity and Business Processes", "Intelligent Cloud", and "More Personal Computing", with windows as one of several things in the 3rd group. How did you figure it out as a 5th place revenue source?
gunalx · a day ago
You can also kinda read the 3 categories as office, azure, windows. But that is a gross oversimplification.

Do we know if it as vision? That is lacking from 4.7, you need to use an mcp for it.

Glm models with vision ends on a V.

Any chance Voxtral Mini Transcribe 2 will ever be an open model?

On my side, I had the feeling that there was less room/talk full to the point you can't enter compared to previous years.

Except in the H building.

gunalx · 11 days ago
Agree, felt a little less packed than before. H building was brutal though.

Wow, Noctalia looks amazing! I'm especially excited about the automatic theme by background image, that means my live updating wallpaper also tweaks the theme :) super fun.
gunalx · 12 days ago
That is exactly the only feature I would like to disable. (have custom theming already)

You can get like terabytes of DDR3 used. No one wants that shit. Too slow. Power hog.
gunalx · 14 days ago
Well yes, but it isn't too cheap for how 8ld it is.

Its more of a deepseek advert. The model here was the most incorrect one. (everyone else had half the errors or less) It dosent matter to be fast if you are wrong.

Umm, we do. It's still one of the best for eu countries support / help chatbot style. It's got good (best?) multilingual support ootb, it's very "safe" (won't swear, won't display chinese characters, etc) and it's pretty fast.

gunalx · 15 days ago
Yep. Before gemma3 we where struggling with multilinguality on smaller European languages, and it is still one of the batter ones in that regard (even large open or closed models struggle with this to some extent). Gemma3 also is still pretty decent multi modal wise.

I'm not against typst. I think it's integration would be a lot easier and more straightforward I just don't know if it's really that popular yet in academia.
gunalx · 16 days ago
its not yet, but gaining traction.
