I don't see any channels worth watching though

You bring your own channels, so you may be misunderstanding.

Nice, you should probably explain what traefik, sops and age will do. First time I've heard of sops, very handy!

Grammarly is a lifesaver for my day-to-day writing. All it does is correct spelling and punctuation or give rephrase suggestions. But Grammarly does it so unreasonably well that nothing else compares.

Grammarly's core functionality is not even LLM-based; it's older than that. Recently, they've crammed in some LLM features that I don't care a snoot about compared to its core functionality.

This tool, like any other "Grammarly alternative," is just another GPT wrapper to rewrite my text in an overly verbose and soulless way. I was hoping for a halfway-decent spelling corrector.

Absolutely! Being dyslexic, Grammarly is much more than the AI tool that was recently added, which is great, too.

I'd really like to hear more about the type of exploits here. Like, what level- Are we saying this kid is so brilliant he is writing zero-days for getting into corporate networks or if this a case of a guy in a good script-kiddie type group running phishing deals where they fire off 100000 emails a day and wait for someone to give up their logic credentials.

Because if it is the former it's really hard for me to understand how that is still even possible in this day and age. Autism, brilliance, or whatever... a 17 year old breaking into systems like they are as exploitable as early 90's systems sounds just insane to me.

It says does it not, social engineering. Getting access to there discord, etc..

A skill in itself but not 0day or anything.

Something else disturbing is how much European governments trust Microsoft/Azure. They are normally allergic to US big tech but Microsoft has somehow convinced European governments to hand out their citizens data.
funshed · 2 years ago
I imagine that is because Microsoft bends the knee and pays fines to Europe every few years and complies with its orders. The Microsoft software/services the USA see's is different to the Microsoft Software/Services the EU sees.

I don't think launching an MVP (which this was) works when there is such a large established monopoly your trying to disrupt. Especially as the MVP offers nothing new?

"In 2022, Google made upward of $30 billion in revenue from the sale of ad space on publishers’ websites. That was six times the digital advertising revenue of all U.S. news publications, combined. In a functioning market, no one would expect the middleman to make more than the content creator."

Do they think the only "publishers" are "us news publications" or just purposely misleading readers?
