I wonder why? Why not today but 28th of Jan?
Part of me thinks M5 MacBook Air and M5 Pro MacBook Pro will also be released on January 28th.
I could see a press release refresh on that day to M5 chips.
Granted, it seems the even better UX is to save what the user inputs and let them recover if they lost something important. That would also help for other things, like crashes, which have also burned me in the past. But tradeoffs, as always.
I tell the computer what to do, not the other way around.
I mean, the cute section titles are a dead giveaway.
My family does this except we use 1Password app instead of Passwords. Kids have their own devices, allowance is paid via Apple Cash and they can use either Apple Pay or their virtual card number to buy things in the real world or online. Google and game account credentials are stored on their device or on their PCs via Chrome plugin (which Apple Passwords has as well).
You may need to enable RTSP (https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2680/) to get a feed off them directly, it works fine in Frigate and any other viewer that can consume RTSP.
I am not defending TP-Link, but it's a pretty big claim for you to say their devices don't work offline and will immediately power down, without any supporting technical evidence.
