Surprised rail is given a B- when you would think compared America's rail network against China, Europe, Japan etc. its more like a D or lower. Amtrak is good in some regions but decades behind other similarly wealthy countries and even plenty or countries with much lower GDP per capita.

We will take the day off I guess as we run the critical stuff on nuclear. I don't fancy nuclear because it's too involved, takes forever to build, its a big deal, needs long term planning. I also don't believe that there are enough smart and trustworthy people to take care of a nuclear infrastructure that powers the world for generations, disasters will happen. Let's use the quick, simple, safe and unlimited potential. Nuclear has its place for sure though.

Solar efficiency degrades over time. When these sites are no longer economical their owners will turn to bankruptcy, we'll have thousands of hectares of green fields covered in disarrayed broken blue panels, overgrown, unmaintained, a public nuisance of massive proportions in the making.

This is a classic "anything that can't be empirically measured is invalid and can be dismissed" mistake. It would be nice if we could easily empirically measure everything, but that's not how the world works.

The ChatGPT article is of a rather different nature where ChatGPT went off the rails after a long conversation with a troubled person. That's not good, but just no the same as "start spewing racism on unrelated questions".

stealth does in general go out the window when you turn on your radar. It's much like dressing in black and then running around with a flashlight at night. (and yes, there are equivalents to the various forms of night vision here, with associated tradeoffs)
