Single greatest thing I did to fix my circadian rhythm was get a sunset/sunrise lighting alarm. I have some hue lights and a "Hatch" alarm clock that both do sunrise lighting and some light morning noise that gradually increases lighting early in the morning. Even when its dark outside, my body has accustomed to it so much that I didn't even notice day light savings at all. Best investment for myself and my daughter I've ever done.

The thing is, that This is speculation (with all respect).

I, on the other hand, do not lack courage to do hard things. But I have learned that it is a strawman - it does not make you happier to quite you job, leave your spouse, go for your passion in a startup, etc.

Luckily I fucked up everything in that fever dream early enough that it did not have substantiel impact on my life.

Imagine having these sort of warrants hanging over your head and just casually deciding to do a little international traveling. Guys like this are constantly getting nabbed this way. I wonder if being a wanted man for so long has some sort of psychological effect that makes people take more risks to get it over with.

How can you ID these guys if they get a new passport. Changed hairstyle and do some surgery to the face?

Cars clogging streets because someone wants a hamburger delivered…

We live in a very dumb era.

dbancajas · 5 months ago
1 waymo car delivering 10 hamburgers to 5 different houses better than 5 cars on the street.

Starvation may also cause epigenetic and metabolic changes, which persist and are even passed to next generations. In children tissue dystrophy is particular damaging, since their bodies are still developing. Starvation is a really fucking bad thing.

It's nature's way of communicating to the next generation. That is crazy and beautiful.

I once flew to the US for a week on ESTA to attend a few meetings (pre-COVID), but I mostly just did my regular developer work in the US office. By today’s standards, would I have been shackled for that?

I made $1.5 million last year selling online data engineering courses.

Would you be willing to teach me how to do this. Develop a course from my expertise (programming/python/whatever) for like 20% of the profits?

If you need more things to fix:

* Software R&D Amortization - taxes on make-believe profits

* Patent law - protect small businesses from patent trolls

* Automate government-driven compliance standards - enable small businesses to sell into large companies/government entities, automatic certification when using pre-approved cloud solutions.

* Healthcare insurance - employees of SMBs automatically get access to medicare

Can you expand on the last one? Is there no market (providers/demand) for this right now?
