Phosh is a specific graphical environment that runs on top of PMOS; I don't see anything to suggest that renaming it is planned.

Everyone is so obsessed with proving the other wrong on this platform. It's almost as if users derive their identity from their supposed superior intellect. Sounds like what the twitter guy does all the time.

When it was cool the play around the a pinephone, it certainly was the case. Phosh remains a terrible name imo

Any name will be better than Phosh. Most google results would return phishing attacks when searching for 'phosh linux'

Just tried Claude code. First impressions, it seems rather expensive. I prefer how Aider allows finer control over which files to add, or to use a sub-tree of a git repo. Also, It feels like the API calls when using Claude code are much faster then when using 3.7 on Aider. Giving bandwidth priority?

The only meaningful department they should start with is the DOD / Pentagon. I'm sure they will find room for efficiencies once an audit is complete. However, I won't hold my breathe. Bye bye dept of education.

Some people need a hand to get back on their feet. Some people need a small, safe space just for them and their stuff (voluntary homelessness, broadly speaking; tiny homes or more dense concepts in urban areas work here), some people need to be committed (I know some folks like this both in a clinical setting, as well as a working farm in New England operated just for this need). These statements are the easy part, the hardest part is implementation.

Affordable housing is of course key to broad housing security for those of sound mind and economics who desire to be housed.

If only America was the richest country in the world...

Homelessness for San Francisco was a mere PR problem during a state visit. Their is 0 appetite to tackle these social problems. Before implementation comes the actual political will to do something about it.
