I'm working on a browser extension that lets you save a list of all your open tabs into a markdown document. You can format the output using a templating language and it saves direct to your Obsidian vault if you have one (otherwise gives you a markdown file to download, plus a clipboard copy).

github link: https://github.com/cgranier/tabSidian

Links to all the browser extension stores on github.

I recently launched a daily word puzzle!

https://tiledwords.com

It’s inspired by tile placement board games like Patchwork and crosswords. You rotate and move tiles to rebuild a broken crossword.

It’s free, web based, and responsive.

I currently have several hundred daily players and growing. My wife and I create the puzzles and I’m continuing to fix bugs and add new features.

I just launched a ”community puzzle” feature to let players help build new puzzles.

I’d love to know what you think!

That was quite fun. Will be back.

Having worked extensively with TDI Explore and Wavefront software on SGI machines, seeing this on my browser still blows my mind.

I deleted my account and my 3rd party app and I found myself reflexively tapping the now-empty spot on my home screen 5-10 times yesterday. Today I haven't and only went to the mobile site a couple times to see what's going on with the state of things, but left as soon as the first "Oops, this /r/AskReddit text-only post is NSFW, open in the app!" message came up.

I have however visited HN and kbin 5-10x more today.

I moved the Sync icon to a folder and replaced it with Hack (a hacker news app).

For English speakers, of course, for now.

ChatGPT is quite capable of generating content in Spanish. Not sure how many good lectures are available on YouTube though.

"The answer is simple but difficult: Switch to the Sal Khan model. Lectures at home, classes are for homework."

I think this could actually work!

Not sure how this would scale. Assuming all kids have access to their own computer and high-speed internet, are they supposed to spend 5 more hours at home watching internet lectures?

From March: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/excel/wordle-with-exc...

4.5MB XLSX https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/excel/wordle-with-exc...

It uses the full information when generating possibilities, including letters that are not in the solution/

Thanks. I'll take a look at this. Always looking for more Excel magic.

The beauty of writing more descriptive error codes is that it also forces the developer to think more thoroughly about what is causing a particular error and - hopefully- eliminating the issue all together.

I love finding easter eggs in code bases or error messages (as long as they don't introduce more headaches, of course).
