This is such a misleading headline and conclusion, because you have to give it a specific role as an auditor and the freedom to audit and the tools to report you.

It won’t specifically do this by just typing random searches into it.

Forget context.

Who exactly does this article imagine is sitting behind that - checks notes - email inbox that is - checks notes again - being spammed by AI???

If you gave up on scales, you aren't going to learn any kind of guitar other than churchband boomchunk.

I’m sure they are conveniently skirting some regulations in the name of speed, and should not be allowed to do so, but is there hard data on pollution levels increasing around the area? Haven’t seen it in any of these reports, instead there are FLIR videos of “pollution” coming out of the turbines.

If your neighbor fired up 35 construction/welding generators across the street you'd notice the smell, right?

These things are turbines, each the size of a shipping container.

I don't think you need IR evidence to know that it would be unpleasant.

1)VC driven hype. Stop claiming to have invented God, and people will stop making fun of you for saying so.

2)Energy/Environment. This stuff is nearly as bad as crypto in terms Energy Input & Emissions per Generated Value.

3)A LOT of creatives are really angry at what they perceive as theft, and 'screwing over the little guy'. Regardless of whether you agree with them, you can't just ignore them and expect that their arguments will just go away.

"Woah, man, GPUs are fast..."

Flagged. Kinja Clickbait. LLMs have exactly nothing to do with the reason that Enigma-style encryption hasn't been relevant for nearly more than half a century.

(And everything to do with goosing Gizmodo's bottom line with drivel like this).

Your front door is accessible to the public. Without a fence around your yard and a guard at the gate, bad actors could get access to your front door and exploit any number of door vulnerabilities, including a chainsaw or battering ram.

Please send me $12,000 dollars.

Yeah, except this is closer to: "This public playground is accessible to children. Without a privacy screen, anyone could see the children, or write down a list of which equipment they played upon.

Please send money."
