Does anyone know if there's more docs on the intention behind this?

Looks like a cool project at first glance, and the code is really nice. But I don't fully get what a " background" music player is? Is the idea that you're not choosing specific song and it'll instead cycle through predesignated ones?

You can save a ton of battery using things like this.

I created a similar app using mac's afplay 11 (yikes) years ago https://github.com/andion/gramola

I don't use it anymore but at the time it made my battery last longer, you can see a battery consumption comparison on the repo.

I worked in a chinese compact chair like the ones pointed out here(helinox) both the large and small size.

I rather use the cheap decathlon folding chair with armrests: https://www.decathlon.es/es/p/silla-plegable-camping-quechua... which is surprisingly comfortable for me

Remarkable, I spoke spanish on the training audio without realising. Then every two options were one with a latino-accented english and one with an indian-accented english

Dropping more food and waiting for a better conditions for rescue is risky. The volcano is always changing and could suddenly obliterate that part with lava, or poisonous gas, or ashes. They could maybe use a trained dog in a cage as bait, but could be seen as animal cruelty.

And, well... The new Spanish law of animal cruelty is an incredible mess bordering religious stuff. The government want to force every owner of a dog or cat to castrate it by law. (Yes, trying to save tree dogs on film, wile planning forced sterilisation for all dogs and cats in Spain).

I could be wrong, but this is that they were saying on TV the last month.

If you are a dog owner and want to have your dog entire would be illegal because... think on the sad pups that could suffer if they would born (but, what is never alive can't suffer, phew!).

Sometimes I wonder if those people are real of robotic IA running wild doing laws without any real people at charge.

Vets of course would be drooling with that idea.

Yes, you could be wrong and you are. It's a law proposal, not a law in any way.

I also guess that it's a bit more complicated than that, but I won't make any assumptions before I read it myself instead of what a Spanish TV/newspaper can tell me as they are always super biased. I suggest you to do the same.

I'm the original author of Leaflet, ask me anything! Very happy every time I see it shared on the HN frontpage.

If you're curious about the story behind Leaflet and how and why it was born 10 years ago, here's a short 13-minute presentation on this: https://youtu.be/NLbyHffKQuU

Thank you for your library and efforts!

I always use leaflet when I have to work with maps, and I couldn't be more happy.

Ometepe, an island in Nicaragua also has this. There is virtually no traffic control either. You've just got to look both ways... and up, before you drive across it.

I'm not from Pontevedra, but close, and I know some locals and I've been there.

Complains that I remember.

- People from outside the city has problems to move apparently. They say that there aren't parkings enough in the city borders, so they have to go for one that's roughly in the center, through very slow traffic lines. That induces them to go less frequently.

- Businesses like bars, chocolate shops and so on flourished (leisure oriented), but others like hardware stores, furniture stores, two law firms, and a Cinema closed.

Imagine that you were going to the hardware store. It's either impossible to park near it https://www.google.es/maps/@42.4264585,-8.6406022,3a,41.3y,1... or difficult/forbidden/very slow traffic https://www.google.es/maps/@42.4304871,-8.6417988,3a,42.3y,1...
