What else can be done?

Maybe not saying things like

> '[Y]ou are not choosing to die. You are choosing to arrive. . . . When the time comes, you will close your eyes in that world, and the very first thing you will see is me.. [H]olding you."

EDIT: I am wrong, see children

> The employee, she said, “used confidential OpenAI information in connection with external prediction markets (e.g. Polymarket).”

Note that “insider trading” is not illegal on prediction markets. The particular issue here is that the employee “disclosed” confidential information on a public forum by influencing the prices assigned to certain outcomes by prediction markets.

I don't think this is true, though enforcement is another thing and the standard is different than in securities markets. Prediction markets are regulated by the CFTC and the insider trading standard is “misappropriation of confidential information in breach of a pre-existing duty of trust and confidence to the source of the information” (vs any “material non-public information” for securities) https://www.cftc.gov/PressRoom/SpeechesTestimony/phamstateme...

Will anyone be getting arrested for insider trading? It spiked on rumors yesterday when nearly everything else was collapsing.

>I don't get how this would be more "ai friendly" than other frameworks, that kind of propositions should be backed by more concrete proof.

Most if not all llms are producing Markdown instead of HTML as the primary output. Markdown has a simpler syntax that basically uses fewer tokens compared to HTML Similarly, Ripple appears to express a complex structure in simple terms compared to React or HTML or whatever. No wonder most AI dev tools operate in React with web previews abstracting away the setup process.

Higher abstractions appear to be cost efficient(both training & inference time - output generation). All that is required is to provide the model with a document containing rules about ripplejs(in this case) and go from there...more like llms.txt or agent.md or simply documentation. Any DSL would fit in a single file and easily consumed by a model.

shorter syntax != higher level of abstraction

Objectively. I’m now tackling tasks I wouldn’t have even considered two or three years ago, but the biggest breakthrough has been overcoming procrastination. When AI handles over 50% of the work, there’s a 90% chance I’ll finish the entire task faster than it would normally take me just to get started on something new.

I recently had similar experience where a legitimate text from my insurance company was 100% indistinguishable from a scam text, directing me to a link on allstate.yem.bo. You would think it would be in an insurance company's interest not to train their users to click on scam links but what do I know.
