Canada has a maple leaf for a tail :D [1]

But yep, I do hope to improve this. (And if I don't, I'm sure someone else will.)

Op here, selling 3000 cars.

I've never bought a car at a dealership, and neither has anyone in my family in 25 years. But then again, I know cars inside and out (even from before my car sales career) so I feel pretty safe not accidentally buying a scammers car from Craigslist.

As opposed to buying a(n always more expensive) scammer's car on purpose at a used car dealership?, the choice seems easy.

My Canadian home town is not even walkable in the winter. You can't plot a route from home to the mall because some parts have no sidewalks at all, and snowbanks force you into muddy snow and traffic.

I've attempted it and a concerned driver stopped to tell me how dangerous it was.

If the US government goes to war with crypto, it’s not going to be a long fight. The exodus of corporate capital from the ecosystem will be a fatal blow to crypto prices and projects.

Rule number one is don’t fight the IRS.

wat? Worse than $900 ETH? Not too sure.

Inflation is the highest it’s been in nearly two generations.

Why do you believe holding cash is a good idea?

They don't.

They said buy a business, and/or stocks at the right time.

In my company there's no escaping Google Drive. It's miles ahead of Microsoft if you want to collaborate on a document with multiple people.

In principle I support this, but I can't help but think it's going to backfire.

Users buying LibreOffice on the Mac App Store are not going to be doing so because they care about free software – if they did they probably wouldn't be on a Mac and would probably download from official channels, perhaps donating directly if they want to contribute so that Apple don't take 30%.

This means that those users buying it are users who would otherwise buy/use iWork, Microsoft Office, or Google Docs, and I'm pretty sure they're going to be in for a bit of a shock. LibreOffice is usable, but it's not the same in terms of usability.

So, they're about to get a bunch of users who stumble onto their software, pay for it, have a bad experience, and then expect and are essentially entitled to customer support. Customer support through the App Store is hard at the best of times, so good luck. I somehow doubt the Document Foundation has factored this in to their pricing, or that they even have a customer support team.

Office 365 has made it so Libre is the clear winner in UX for most of my users last 5 years, honestly.

As I said in another part of the thread, I was in a scenario where we were performed millions of inserts into a table of four integers, one row at a time. Generating the string and parsing it again wound up being enough to blow our 10µs time budget.

What did you do for a solution?
