LOGO lives!

LOGO was my first interaction with a computer back in 1996. We had to write one program in LOGO in our computer class and we were allowed to play one of the following three games for rest of the period: Dangerous Dave, Paratrooper, or Prince of Persia.

I’m working on a Chrome extension called Console Dock, which adds a floating dev console window directly inside the page. I built it as a fun side project because I often work on smaller screens and hate constantly switching or resizing panels. Still very experimental, but it’s already proving useful for quick debugging sessions.

I used Eruda before. Is it similar?

Looks great BTW. Installed.

Really well done. I'm sure it must have been a joy to use Sveltekit.

Good one.

Few years ago, I built a throw-away offline-first and minimalist time tracking app similar to this.

> A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.

This is a characteristic of spite. Maybe spitefulness is stupid. But true spitefulness is a whole other level to watch out for.

It's a miracle that the internet and computers work with each other as well as they do.

He says re agents:

>They don't have enough intelligence, they're not multimodal enough, they can't do computer use and all this stuff. They don't do a lot of the things you've alluded to earlier. They don't have continual learning. You can't just tell them something and they'll remember it. They're cognitively lacking and it's just not working.

>It will take about a decade to work through all of those issues. (2:20)

And the decade timeframe is mostly based on his intuition and previous experience with such leaps.

This is a good nudge to choose the grammatically correct option, thank you.

I originally had "less meetings" before an LLM corrected me into using "fewer meetings". Then when talking about Orgtools to a couple people I heard them say "less meetings" and switched back thinking that sounds slightly more natural (but incorrect).

Sateeshm · 2 months ago
The way I think of it is "few" if they can be counted, otherwise, "less"

True, though very few (this says "over 1,500"[1]). And from everything I've seen, Spot appears to be a very expensive solution in search of a problem.

They also have Handle, a slow moving robot on wheels with an arm for moving boxes. No idea how many have been sold, but it seems to be even less than Spot.

The arm robot is called Stretch I think
