Now there's a blast from the past. Irrlichts heyday was around ~2010, but it looks like there's still a few people keeping the lights on.

TIL it was actually used in a commercial game (Bugsnax) relatively recently, although the devs said that it will be their final release on the engine.

Holy crap, I didn't know that they used that engine for that game. I thought they stopped using it after Octodad: DC.

Capital H is cursed... unconnected pixels, indistinguishable from 'ii' or "II". The concept's cool, but for this one point the wrong choice was made.

Try reading "HiGh sky buys The lies" in the font. Pretty difficult to make out what it says...

A website that closes on Mondays? Stupid, stupid concept. As stupid as Steam's Tuesday Maintenance...

Fortunately, you can skip it very easily: https://melonking.net/melon

[I was wrong, see below.—cw] It doesn't do the same thing. An APFS clone/copy-on-write clone is not the same as a hard or soft link. https://eclecticlight.co/2019/01/05/aliases-hard-links-symli...

Your source points out that:

< You can also create [APFS (copy on write) clones] in Terminal using the command `cp -c oldfilename newfilename` where the c option requires cloning rather than a regular copy.

`fclones dedupe` uses the same command[1]:

  if cfg!(target_os = "macos") {
      result.push(format!("cp -c {target} {link}"));

https://github.com/pkolaczk/fclones can do the same thing, and it's perfectly free and open source. terminal based though

  brew install fclones
Thanks for the recommendation! Just installed it via homebrew.

Anyone have any example videos generated by Gource they wanna share?

I'll go first: Here is a Gource video of some months of development on Typeform when I worked there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTo9qy5mIWg

Uploaded ~10 years ago, and I'm pretty sure none of that code is being deployed anymore, at least I hope so.

I can't access it; the video is set to private.
