That. Was a decent investment of my time as a devops engineer. Right to the point. I learned things.

I on the other hand would probably only switch to Zed with the AI integration. Want to learn a new language? Using AI speeds it up by a factor of months.

Yay, it has native wireless charging via Qi2, AKA Pixelsnap. The rumors on the internet were that you needed a special case to use the wireless charging. But that is not true after all and those rumors were false.

You can just plop a Qi2 charger right on your phone and it will charge! Only bummer is that the 10 pro charges at 15w while the 10 pro XL charges at 25w. And I really prefer the smaller phones that fit in my pockets. Not some huge monster phone.

Pain Brain Film covers the new pain reprocessing therapy which might be linked to untreatable headaches.

I'm reading Tim Urban's book titled "What's Our Problem".

It definitely explains the different types of thinking that I'm making up our current society, including social media. I haven't got to the part yet where he suggests what to do about it, but it's fascinating insight into our human behavior in this day and age.

I have this same problem. I’ve added a bunch of instructuons to try and stop ChatGPT being so sycophantic, and now it always mentions something about how it’s going to be ‘straight to the point’ or give me a ‘no bs version’. So now I just have that as the intro instead of ‘that’s a sharp observation’

I had instructions added too and it is doing exactly what you say. And it does it so many times in a voice chat. It's really really annoying.

Yeah, I so so hate this feature. I gladly switched away from using Claude because of exactly this. Now, I'm on gpt5, and don't plan on going back.

The same could be said for food. And farmers who farm the food. The farmers could say I only want to sell food to people that I know are going to be directly eating it. And not be used in a bunch of other stuff. They might want to talk to the person buying it or the person buying. It might want to talk to the farmer and know how it's grown.

This abstraction has already happened. And many people eat food that is not directly bought from the farmer.

I don't see how this is much different.

Shoutout to checkvist.com use them for years. Exactly enough bells and whistles.

It fits my brain of an endless deep list.

Have no affiliate with them apart from paying them each and every year.

ElijahLynn · 13 days ago
TruTruth! I've been paying them for a couple years too, and am still in the camp of "take my money".

Such an efficient to-do list that has progressive enhancement of some sorts where you start out with a list and if you want more features they just kind of are there but they don't get in the way unless you want them. I love how I can do everything with keyboard shortcuts with Checkvist!

Checkvist is pretty decent, entirely keyboard shortcut driven. I'm a beast when it comes to making and editing lists with Checkvist, so fast.

I can rearrange, nest, denest, move up or down in hierarchy, just focus in on one hierarchy, mark as completed, filter search.

All with keyboard shortcuts!
