That may be the case, but I can't personally confirm it. On the other hand, I have never felt a particular need. There were some or not. They come and they go. It probably also depends on what you want to understand by the term friend.

Primates first appeared around 65 million years ago.

The earliest dinosaurs arose over 200 million years ago.

Therefore, it is possible that by about 130 million years ago, the dinosaurs would have reached our level of development. They could have detected the oncoming asteroid, built space ships, and left this planet. All while mammals were barely getting started.

This extremely likely scientific theory is explored in Hibbett, MJ's "Dinosaur Planet"

And in Cixin Liu’s short story "Devourer" they even come back to earth for a last visit...

Of course, this has a back-story/history, see "Of Ants and Dinosaurs".

I asked ChatGPT o1-preview with cutt-off October 2023 and it was not enthusiastic about the idea and said medicine would be closer.

ChatGPT 40 wasn't keen about it either.

Perplexity.ai told me it is what it is, it's a great idea and it's fine with it.

I am an avid news junkie, but this one came to me just a few minutes ago via an obscure social media dedicated to anything that satisfies intellectual curiosity. From this I conclude this performance from two days ago is not having the desired effect on the masses.

To what extent this can be considered a work of art in the age of mechanical reproduction, I don't have a clear answer to that yet.

Although it was the second performance of the play, as far as it is known no Heinz' soups were harmed this time. I will have to ask some LLM on this later after feeding it with the works of Walter Benjamin.

"If we have our own why in life, we shall get along with almost any how. Man does not strive for pleasure; only the Englishman does."

Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols

Meaning is in the eye of the beholder. For most people in most of history their work just meant to bring food on the table.

Not at my company. We’re more like a family than a traditional startup.

You should have put that in quotes.

I would even openly admit that I voted your comment up to mitigate the punishment for your mistake, but then they would vote me down. So, I don't. Just so as not to be misunderstood.
