Can I edit a node to modify the next branch, or add my own in if the offerings are not quite right? Do you foresee this being useful in evaluating scripts by pulling out the story structure and 'grading' the story graphing?

Israel hacked a US based company and leaked data because they couldn't directly censor them?

Who cares? It. Is. Not. Real. Time to stop coddling religion. All religion is politics and all politics require force to power. Stop caring about nonsense.

The Evolution method outlined also seems born from the Continuous Delivery paradigm that was required for subscription business models. I would argue Engineering is the superior approach as the Lean/Agile methods of production were born from physical engineering projects whose end result was complete. Evolution seems to be even more chaotic because an improper paradigm of 'dev ops' was used instead of organically emerged as one would expect with an evolving method.

Ai assistance would seem to favor the engineering approach as the friction of teams and personalities is reduced in favor of quick feasibility testing and complete planning.

> It is irrational to spend the same amount of energy on mining a digital token when it can be used to build and power actual productive robots

It's just as irrational as it was 10 years ago, there have always been more productive uses for energy, but it doesn't really matter, people will always chose their own short-term profit, expecting anything else is delusional

ArchieScrivener · 4 days ago
No, 10 years ago the threat was from financial collapse given the past 16 years of bubble induced recessions, energy usage was a store of value hedge against inflation. 10 years ago the first approved ETF was still 5 years away and institutional buyers were nonexistent.

People will not always consider short term profit; thinking such is an irrational expectation.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but PoW is going to become a liability in a world of energetic production. It is irrational to spend the same amount of energy on mining a digital token when it can be used to build and power actual productive robots.

If Bitcoin Core decides this is true and alters the algo to save the chain, it too will lead to collapse as a Balkanization will occur across the mining pools. The most likely outcome is disintegration.

I just tested both codex 5.3 and opus 4.6 and both returned pretty good output, but opus 4.6's limits are way too strict. I am probably going to cancel my Claude subscription for that reason:

What do you want to do?

  1. Stop and wait for limit to reset
   2. Switch to extra usage
   3. Upgrade your plan

Enter to confirm · Esc to cancel
How come they don't have "Cancel your subscription and uninstall Claude Code"? Codex lasts for way longer without shaking me down for more money off the base $xx/month subscription.

How else are they going to supplement their own development expenses? The more Claude Anthropic needs the less Claude the customer will get. By their own admission that is how the Anthropic model works. Their end value is in using vibe coders and engineers alike to create a persistent synthetic developer that replaces their own employees and most of their customers.

Scalable Intelligence is just a wrapper for centralized power. All Ai companies are headed that way.

Sam is an entrepreneur trying to play an industrialist game. He will lose. OpenAi will be sold to Microsoft on the profit side and control of the open source board will effectively be awarded to Elon. OpenAi had their chance to oust him, but his c-suit judo was too strong.
