The fitness thing is getting the headlines but two other items:

They're eliminating the anonymous whistleblower program. I would have thought this'd be protected by statute.

The president said he'd be meeting with the attendees and firing anyone he "doesn't like" which presumably means "isn't loyal to him".

Let's not forget to mention that Trump suggested that the generals use American cities as "training grounds" for their troops and units (naming only coastal, Democrat-run cities, of course), and claimed that the USA has a "war" "within" that must be fought.

To be a fly on the wall in the closed-door conversations that the attendees must be having this evening …

Given the way things are going I’d expect the unfit to be shoved into suicide battalions like the Russians were doing at one stage with prisoners.

I mean, the main goal would be not to have one's limbs blown off at war, I don't really care if they pay me. I'm confused... drafting has nothing to do with voluntarily enlisting.
