On the other hand, if a service goes down for a few minutes and gets a post on HN I guess it means they've really made it!
We all assume everything is up 99.99% (4m 23s of downtime per month btw) without paying for that SLA.
If you can't do four 9s, then you should do the next best thing: Four 8s!
