Ask HN: Does Anyone Use Bitchat?

I have it installed and configured. I've never encountered another BitChat user.

Caveat: I am in a rural area and minimally in a populated area.

I have tested both NYC and Fort Lauderdale and have had no luck.

I am wondering if the network needs extenders or repeaters to work.
