Posting something like this but leaving up to the reader to try and figure out the reasoning is probably not a good idea, people will come up with all kinds of things and others will unfairly get blame placed upon them.

But it's not hard to justify. If I worked in the environment Asahi left because she said she didn't feel safe in it, I would be trying to find out what happened and in particular if it was likely to effect me.
If I was Asahi and didn't want that sort of speculation, step one would be to just leave it at "I've paused work on Apple GPU drivers for personal reasons". As it is saying it was because the environment is unsafe, but not saying why it is unsafe makes it look to me like speculation is subtly being invited.
