Unless we radically change what "ai" is (right now, it's just a prediction engine based on our own published knowledge, so at best, it can only come up with average results), "ai" won't save us from anything.
And yes, I put "ai" in quotes because the 'a' part is correct, but the 'i' leaves much to be desired.

With the current AI electricity consumption, I'm not so sure about that. I hope to be proven wrong, though.
Turns out the climate goals were another scheme run by a select few to superimpose a certain set of "values" on humanity. Bill Gates can excuse AI for it of course because they own the agenda.
