It's early to say--I don't think anyone has had time to watch this yet--but the Drake/Kendrick beef[1] is the biggest thing happening in rap right now, so it's hard to imagine that this is unrelated. If nothing else, it could just be a distraction from the bad press he's been getting.
A bunch of stuff you will absolutely not care about. Unreleased music, rough cuts, behind the scenes footage, promo materials, etc. . .
Nothing about the content itself that would be interesting to the average HN reader, but I think this is the first time a celebrity has officially released a massive data dump like this.
Basically, it seems like unreleased versions, samples, etc working directory content of musicians are very coveted online.
I would probably compare this to what programmers call "working in public" when they just dump progress constantly on GitHub.
