I had Grammarly premium for many years as part of my university studies until it was dropped today. $30 a month for premium is a lot, and I am hesitant to pay the discount annual. Searching the web reveals a lot of alternatives, but I am not sure which is good or bad. Any ideas ?
Readit NewsGet a good grammar textbook (several available to buy) or buy the Chicago Manual of Style. These will help you learn grammar, spelling, and puncuation instead of relying on software.

There’s also ProWritingAid. You can buy a lifetime license if you don’t want another subscription.
