All this talk about forcing users to pay or even processing payments on it like a super app in China might seems highly unlikely to me.
If section 230 ever gets reworked to take some protections away from these platforms that algorithmically push content to increase engagement and increase ad rates … if this happens then Twitter will have to invest heavily in content moderation otherwise they’d be liable for millions or billions in penalties.
