Honestly this doesn't seem that bad to me. These sorts of 'do everything' admin positions are common in the small to medium non-IT business.

If yo have to clean anything else then your server-room....run! Sorry that's not normal, there are cleaning institutes for electrical equipment...even in Birmingham.

>Mitigate security issues on all accounts

No problem...but let me clean the TV first

>Remove or Suspend users per instruction

No problem...let me call Boris (ex KGB).

Hey, if my boss wants to pay me my salary to wipe down some electronics, I'm game. Besides, I don't think they have a server room.

This looks like the outgoing “IT manager” wrote up a list of their duties, then it got handed off to HR who thought it was a list of applicant requirements.

"Clean computer files as needed"

?!

Whatever it is that is needed to clean their computer files, it sounds more achievable than:

"Ensure all computers remain connected and on at all times"

>Adjust temperatures in salons as requested by Operations

I don't see any mention of ... money - presumably this will be a paid position?!

> presumably this will be a paid position

I really wish it had "unpaid internship - with a chance to progress to full time role for impressive candidates" (with free haircuts as a perk?)

Is it the The worst IT manager role I have ever seen if the pay is 7 figures? Is it the The worst IT manager role I have ever seen if the pay is 5 figures? Beauty is in the eye of the paycheque.

"Dust cable connections internally to ensure positive connection" Don't touch the negative connections, they are the other managers job!

>Troubleshoot issues with ISP, Network, and Don Lors to ensure business support is maintained

What?

AnIdiotOnTheNet · 4 years ago
Don Lors is apparently a Dish Network contractor.
