10-bt bytes seems a bit more logical as atleast its a recognizable base

Neat - I wish it showed how many entries there are for each category. I was disappointed to see a Parenting category, with nothing in it.

If someone uses more than one tab per level of indentation he should be forbidden access to editors for life

The point of the "tab" option is that there is no consensus on the number of spaces to use -- so by using tab, one uses a single character, and allows the developer to determine screen spacing to their comfort.

"Tab" being a live option is a symptom of the war-never-over in absolute spacing degree -- since different people have different eye-sight, eye-strain, etc. constraints, different linguistic familiarities, code-density preferences, and so on.

And what say you about reaching a consensus on the number of tabs to use?!?!?!

What a weak article, maybe should have used a chat assistant to write it. Wait, let me try:

I love this idea.

But you know what? It's one step away from a system where AI's act as agents of our values, interests, needs and availabilities and mingle with other AI's to find possible business or romantic connections for us, all automatically.

Like a business coach/matchmaker and dating coach/matchmaker in one. Imagine just receiving high-potential connections for both, in your inbox, every day, according to whatever criteria you value.

My OpenAI ChatGPT knows me VERY well. It would possibly be amazing if a system existed that I could deem my chatgpt account a proxy of me for.

EDIT: I don't think there's currently a way to hand out a key to my (privacy-preserving except where explicitly allowed) own ChatGPT which also includes the conversation memory, unless MCP might provide this somehow

One of Suno's biggest weakness is their lyrics generation, and that you can't generate lyrics without also generating a song. I think it's better to use a different LLM to generate and iterate on lyrics, which you can then pass to Suno in order to generate a final song.

If anyone here has a subscription and they can spare the tokens, I think it would be fun if someone shared a song about Hacker News.

I'm hoping that in the future tools like Suno will allow you to produce / generate songs as projects which you can tweak in greater detail; basically a way of making music by "vibe coding". With 4.0 the annotation capabilities were still a bit limited, and the singer could end up mispronouncing things without any way to fix or specify the correct pronunciation. This blog post mentions that with 4.5 they enhanced prompt interpretations, but it doesn't actually go into any technical details nor does it provide clear examples to get a real sense of the changes.

you can do this... just toggle to "custom" mode on song generation
