I am a victim of the religion of self-optimization and productivity for the sake of productivity myself, but in the end you do not have to optimize yourself at all. If you and your family have enough to eat, you are fine. If you are procrastinating something, you can also just decide to not do it. Just live, you are fine.

Speculation isn't a poniz because you don't like the asset. Crypto is more accurately rife with fraud, wash trading, pump and dumps and so on

I've heard people say recently that electric vehicles catch fire at the same rate as gas vehicles. Proof that they're basically safe enough.

Except that has vehicles catch fire after an accident, or after 200k miles when someone let's an oil leak go on for way too long.

Electric vehicles are catching fire while basically new, and while being used in standard ways like being parked and charging in your garage. It's not common at all for newish gas cars to catch fire while parked.

Newer electric vehicles are moving to LFP batteries which are very resistant to fire after shorting or puncture

I would say most shitcoin hacks are inside jobs. Skip the pump and dump and more to stealing from token holders

Any other highway locations would be better. Best thing about an EV is you fill up next to a restaurant or cafe. Never have to go to a gas station again

If you cannot comply with local restrictions on press freedom you have no business serving content to users from those countries.
space_rock · 3 years ago
Exactly. It's a circular argument to say a law is good because it's a law. And no one has any idea of financial laws in each country

Saying that Sam Altman is a scammer

And not just in two German states:

https://multipolarista.com/2022/03/03/crime-support-russia-u...

"It’s a jailable crime to support Russia’s Ukraine war in EU members Slovakia and Czech Republic"

The title actually makes it sound less drastic than it is. Czech Republic, Slovakia and Latvia actively investigate people "supporting" or "accepting" the invasion. There are official statements from government representatives, there are hot lines to snitch on your fellow citizens, and yes, there have been arrests.

Is this a surprise? What country would not investigate supporter of an enemy military in their boarders

It was/is pretty clear that german car makers are going to supersede the cult of Tesla. Better engineering, history, support, network, trust and an actual taste for design. Bonus: Leadership teams that don't post gibberish about Crypto.

I may be too cynical about the car industry, but wouldn't this be a great strategy from Mercedes to hamstring competitors? If they can force stricter regulations that they know/suspect competitors cannot meet, they could prevent these competitors from selling cars with their 'FSD' tech? This would level the playing field, allowing the German car manufacturers to catch up, or at least hold off competition for a while.
space_rock · 3 years ago
100% this. They are so far behind and every move will be to use regulation against competition

Is there a statute of limitations on that, or are they tainted forever?
space_rock · 3 years ago
Statute of limitations did not apply. All crimes were scrubbed by Western govts and forgotten by Western media. Remember legacy auto pays for most ads during news broadcasts
