I wonder how a company like OpenAI can be stolen/distilled via API without noticing, given the amount of data the is needed even for smaller models

Future is not bright. While we are endlessly talking about details reality is that AI is taken over so many jobs.
Not in 10 years but now.
People who just see this as terrible are wrong. AI improving curves is exponential.
People adaptability is at best linear.
This makes me really sad. For creativity. For people.
I am dying to ditch Adobe and Lightroom (both Classic or CC) but none of the alternatives (Photomator included) seem to have the same quality of library management features as Lightroom (metadata editing, rating, keywords, face recognition etc.). Have any enthusiast photographers actually found a decent replacement?
Try nitro. Only macOS at the moment, but such an impressive alternative

In 2012 I created my (French) travel blog.
8 years ago I redesigned it, to make it future proof. Since then I never changed it, and it still rock.

- +10k images available, all geolocalized
- SEO oriented image search, allowing to browse thousands pics in minute
- Mapbox GL API for article
As a tech note, this is a full custom CMS made from scratch with Ruby on Rails.

Le Corbusier had one of the most impactful influence on the so-called modern architecture of the post-war period.
He initiated a school of borderline religious and dogmatic followers who are still active this day.
The existence of Le Corbusier and his school is, in my opinion, the worst thing that happened to architecture, ever.
We're still paying his mistakes.
Couldn't agree more. Exactly what I think every time I see our cities here in France.
Now with Add-ons, Gmail is definately the next Google+, and by far the most successful social network they've been able to create.
But after 13 years of extensive use of it, I'm currently leaving Gmail for Apple iCloud solution.
No ads. No analysis. Just plain good emails.
