Sleep apnea can be a disqualifying condition for pilots, so I like to be 1000% certain and have plans A, B, and C ready to go before seeking treatment.
The FAA decided not to medically clear me over my severe apnea last year. Soul crushing moment.
I wouldn't blame them, Americans on the whole fall over themselves to defend Apple. Apple is the magic entity that figured out how to send full videos and pictures in text messages. Something a google android could never figure out. Apple phones didn't come bloated with garbage. You go to the apple store for help rather than the verizon store. You are above others when you have an iPhone.
Apple's external veneer is stellar, and the overwhelming majority of people don't know and don't care what it is holding up that veneer.

"slack" is the breeding ground for discrimination. Some races, genders, etc. will give more or less slack to each other.
immutable rules that apply to everyone reduces that discrimination (but obviously, the rules themselves can also be discriminatory)
Immutable rules can’t be perfect and are always at risk of being weaponized by whoever is in power at the time.
There’s no delay. If it even sees you as you are closing your eyes, it unlocks. My son and I just tested this.
However, if you never actually look at the phone it will not unlock it. It requires your "attention" to unlock. I believe this is a togglable setting.
