We were also super frustrated with Cloudflare Tunnel, especially from a developer experience and firewall perspective. So we built Tunlr to replace it: https://tunlr.dev. It's Cloudflare Tunnels but you can self-host it and provide your own domains for your internal developers to use, and it proxies over HTTP/SSE which plays nicely with firewalls.

To put this in context, it takes about 1 gallon of water per 1g of almond [1]. And in California's dry climate, this water comes from groundwater that doesn't renew as fast as it's depleted. So the next time someone chastises you for your non-low flow showerhead that uses more than 2 almonds of water per minute, remember to put the numbers in context.

1. Numbers from a pro-almond group: https://www.almonds.org/why-almonds/growing-good/water-wise

I don't know why, but the fact that a "pro-almond group" exists chuckled me up.

They also didn’t destroy people’s credit when they got upside down and had to return the $5k couch or $15k car they were talked into buying on their fixed income, but that’s usually “other people” problems.

Being "talked into" is one hell of an excuse not to take accountability for your own purchases.

The privatization of infrastructure in Europe has been a disaster. The only area where at least prices went down are telecommunication companies.

The postal services are worse now. Railway is more expensive and a disaster. Energy prices are sky high and apparently now we also see unreliability.

Can't you just wait for a minute 'til we know what happened to point fingers? sigh
