As they always say, pessimism and cynicism is the mother of all innovation.

Seriously though, this is just a cheap shot at the web3/cryptography/cryptocurrency/de* space.

I was about to say they have a powerful imagination to see camels in that eroded rock... however after a quick search, there are better photos online: https://www.haaretz.com/archaeology/MAGAZINE-2-000-year-old-...

They’re not camels, they’re AT-AT’s.

The number of musicians who earn zero is even larger still.

I’m not sure that’s true. I don’t think it takes much. I made a baby sushing album and that’s net me around $70/year.

I made it to help put our daughter to sleep. My wife and I got really tired and it helped to have a recording. I thought that others might find it useful, apparently it does.

Maybe it’s just the utility that brings in listeners, but it’s literally just shushing.

It is not that it needs more technology. Education is driven as much from access as it is anything else. Access to teachers is huge. But, failing that, access to educational things is pretty good.

I know my kids got better at quick multiplication from number crunchers. Pretty sure I got better at math from as seemingly non math based games as old RPGs.

Double dragon II on the NES taught me a lot about the world.

I discovered where “New York” is, what “Nuclear War” is and what a “Crime Syndicate” is, all from the story cutscenes.

I also later learnt that, in real life, big bosses don’t just disentegrate after being defeated.

Hi, I support this change and I don't consider myself a spineless sunflower, nor am I offended on behalf of anyone else.

I’m not sure about this. I don’t think relationship between branches are considered slaves to their master branch (at least I never thought of it that way).

If anything, they’re students that may eventually exceed the capabilities of their master. Much like the apprentice Luke Skywalker and master Yoda.

If it does offend then by all means, make it happen, I’m just not entirely convinced.

That would require lots of energy to escape the planets pull vs just waiting until gravity does its thing.

Sort of, but none of the debris will reach the ground. The current version of Starlink is designed to burn up completely in the atmosphere upon re-entry.

Do they need to re-enter? Could they not be directed out into the void?
