Nice story. I wish I were closer to the area so I could explore its nature.

Paddling is one of the activities that makes me feel more present—no time for scrolling while slowly moving through the water. For the last 10 years, I’ve gone once or twice a year to the Danube swamps to disconnect and recharge. We’re lucky there aren’t any crocodiles!”

After reading the article it kinda sounds like he just takes a lot more naps. Feels like cheating.

He said he would take an hour nap when tired , which means he will have another 6 hours sleep per week, which adds him another full night of sleep every week.

Sure - and Plato once said: "Quotation marks are always a sign of absolute truth."

An he also said: “Don’t believe everything that is attributed to me as truth, especially question those who put “my words” under fake quotation marks.”

Storing facts is a poor proxy for acquired knowledge or skill. When you are good at something, you know a lot of facts. Trying to memorize facts to get good at something is inverting the order of factors. You memorize a lot of facts about a domain because you spent a lot of time and attention in it. But finding shortcuts to memorize facts won't in fact give you the actual knowledge and skills, just a way to mimic them convincingly.

This is such a smart answer. i am adding this comment so i can remember where to look when I am thinking of re-reading your comment about memory;

For me, more than memorising things, is creating paths in order to find that piece of information when need it; and yes, you are right, we memorise when we need that information to apply it in a specific moment;

It is amazing what you have created; and the fact that you can not share the video, and you are the only one who can see it it is even more valuable; such a simple and smart idea; bravo

I suffered from this.

The issue is the ego. Ego has a lot of ideas about itself and others. Ego has such high opinion about itself it only can do great work. Which prevents it from doing anything. It's kind of a way of avoiding failures. Because failures will break the grant ideas about himself OP has created.

I accidentally went through a spiritual awakening which diluted ego. I have no problem in doing any kind of work now. Whether it's great or petty.

OP needs to work on the ego. Or figure out a situation where OP has to ship things no matter what. Which is hard unless you are jobless and can't figure a way out apart from building useful things that people pay for.

Why did you delete the links? Your comment regarding the ego stayed with me, and today I wanted to access again the links you shared, and saw that were deleted.

Hacked ? They are saying they can access your content (I’m assuming cloud though won’t be surprised if they also have remote access enabled by default) can be accessed by them anytime they want. Yes adobe can access the next pixar film being made when they desire to take a peek.

I am sure when you work on projects for Pixar, they are more strict regarding this kind of things, but I am not in that position, so why to worry?
