Where do I send my money to fight this?

https://keepandroidopen.org/ is about sending messages, which I have done and will continue to do. But I want to open my wallet.

You may be looking for something more specifically targeted, but here two somewhat relevant ways to donate money:

I've never heard of raindrop and it looks cool but I see the .ru in one of their screenshots -- are they based in Russia? Any concerns with doing business with a Russian company, in the context of sanctions etc.?

While I did live in Russia for a long time and initially started Raindrop there, I relocated to my motherland, Kazakhstan, shortly after the war began. I also moved all financial and business matters there.

I am no longer associated with Russia in any way. It would be great if this information could be added to the article."

A few days ago, there was a link that came by here about Agnes Callard, a philosopher who left her husband for one of her grad students. Both are well written pieces and worth reading. This article makes me think of that one because it feels like the two subjects are exactly opposite people. Both had failed marriages, but one's reaction was an almost absurd degree of navel gazing, and the other's was an absolute lack of it. Both are clearly very smart people, but one speaks almost too plainly, and the other is, well, a philosopher. It's fun to compare them.

Pretty crazy story. That dragon mechanic which brought up a 20 year old serverwide honor code of not ruining the game by defeating the final boss. Quite a few questions unanswered, so do people restart a new server fresh? Are their characters 20 years old? I can't imagine having to play a server for 20 years and have it reset.
mwnivek · 4 years ago
It sounds like the game content is 20+ years old, but the server was started < 3 years ago.
