I’m curious about the control surfaces. Since you have the four quadcopter motors, you could potentially just induce all three of yaw pitch and roll by powering those up.

I wonder if the reduction in weight from the now unneeded servos would pay for the extra battery drain.

How would you get yaw?

No thanks

That doesnt infer what you want. Are you saying you want YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY-DD-MM

kulhur · 2 years ago
Just use uppercase numbers for the month and lowercase for the day. That way you will always know which is more significant without any prior knowledge of how the order of the digits in decimal numbers work.

Wait until this person finds out about a thesaurus!

What do you mean? A thesaurus is for finding synonyms, right?

Concerning the public key cryptography for the exchange of private encrypted messages, I would have rather represented the shared public keys by padlocks, and the private key by the key allowing to open the padlocks. This way, it is easier to understand that there is a relationship between the two keys. In his drawing, 2 different keys can open the safe door, which is not possible in the physical world...

What about signed messages? Then the private key is the padlock and the public key is the... key.

Maybe, but I think AlphaTensor is a better bet when it comes to finding new algorithms.

I like this idea, but when I go to the web page...

> Download the Font… and change the world! By downloading, installing and/or using the font software, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by the terms of this End-User License Agreement...

Sigh. I guess I need to read that EULA.

Anyway, clicking on that then downloads a pdf rather than a nice link to some web page text. Sigh.

So then anyway, trying to open that pdf then fails in the first two readers I tried. Sigh.

Why must everything in the world be so hard? Fuck it, never mind. I'll let someone else change the world and wait for widespread adoption for this font to reach me in whatever other ways.

I'm pretty sure it was also featured in the first episode of Russian Doll. The screen wasn't zoomed in enough for me to verify it, but it looked very similar. Maybe if you watch it in 4k you can tell for sure.
